Pitching a shutout can be a pretty hard thing to accomplish in baseball.

However, 13-year-old Mo'Ne Davis is doing it with style in leading Philadelphia's Taney Youth Baseball Association All-Stars to the Little League Baseball World Series.

In the Little League Mid-Atlantic regional championship on Monday, Mo'Ne only allowed three hits in six innings in leading the Pennsylvania team past Newark, Del., 8-0.

She has a fastball that can get up to 70 miles per hour. But it seems that her curve ball is what really brings in the strikes.

"If I'm pitching, I just go out and throw strikes," Mo'Ne said. "They think I throw, like, soft; but then they see my fastball, and they get kinda scared and I just strike 'em out."
