The Exorcist is one of the best, and scariest, movies ever made. It's in everyone's list of the top horror films, and has been since it was released in the 70s! This is one of the few movies that has been held sacred, and has been deemed un-remakeable.

Until now. Until Fox.

Fox has ordered a TV SHOW of the story of The Exorcist to be made. It sounds like they're going to take it one step further into everyone-will-hate-it-land, and update it to a buddy-cop-style show.

A propulsive, serialized psychological thriller following two very different men tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession, and confronting the face of true evil.

Is there any way we can get the people involved fired before they even get any farther into the process? If you're a horror movie fan, this is the very idea of sacrilege. And I'm not just talking about the graphic scenes with the crucifix, or the language used. The entire atmosphere of the movie is disturbing, and is something that shouldn't be watered-down for television.

And if they make it into a pop-culture version of the story, I'm going to lose my mind.

Who am I kidding, I'm not going to watch it, haha!
