In honor of Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, Food and Beverage Magazine has renamed his favorite drink - Jack and Coke- "The Lemmy", Blabbermouth reports.

Jack Daniels and Coca-cola was the legendary musician's drink of choice, which he helped make famous on the Sunset Strip at the Rainbow Bar and Grill.

“We are honored to represent the industry and bring the moniker, “The Lemmy” to every bar in the world!” said Food and Beverage Magazine Publisher, Michael Politz. “Owning a Rock club with Anthrax’s Scott Ian and Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell gave me the chance to meet Lemmy and experience his legend myself.”

Lemmy passed away Dec. 28, days after his 70th birthday. The rock icon had been battling an aggressive form of cancer. He was celebrated and remembered by friends, family, and members of the entertainment and music community at a memorial service Jan. 9th

Food and Beverage Magazine's announcement about the drink comes comes after a fan petition at change.org to change the name of "Jack and Coke" to "The Lemmy".
