Flashing back a little over a year, to last May, for a great performance I happened to catch from the first band on stage at Rock on the Range. Kill Devil Hill kicked off the Jagermeister stage, and as their last song, they cranked up a cool version of Pantera's "Mouth for War", and were joined by Phil Anselmo!

This was the first time I'd seen Phil and Rex on stage together in a long time, and it was in front of a great crowd at Rock on the Range. And it was totally unexpected!

Dewey Bragg started the song, singing the first verse, and then handed the mic over to Phil for the rest of the song, and though Phil's voice has gone through some radical changes over the years, he did a good job on the song he helped make a classic metal track.

It was good luck on my part to catch the song, and I'm glad I have it for my archives to share with you! Enjoy!
