Female professional wrestler Courtney Rush of SHIMMER recently announced that she had broken her collarbone and would be out of action for the rest of the year.

Thursday night, she posted the following photo and message on Facebook...

Many sincere thanks to everyone's love and positivity sent this way regarding my broken collarbone. As expected, it hurts a lot! But I remain in my high spirits and look forward to doing everything even better in 2014. Gooooo REHAB! And here is the X-ray for everyone who wants to go, "Oh, gross! Well, cool, but wow! There it is! Right in half! That's broken all right!"

Professional wrestlers are bound to deal with injuries throughout their careers and without an offseason, it's truly amazing that most hold up as well as they do.  I'd like to wish a speedy recovery to Courtney Rush.  A lot of people don't realize how difficult it is to do what she does for a living, but as a former professional wrestling manager, I've seen first-hand on several occasions how physically demanding that business can be.  I admire anyone who is able to do it with any amount of success.  - SHAFFEE
