The Grand Woods Lounge is being sued by an employee.

Fox 17 reports that the lawsuit filed in federal court alleges that restaurant management did not pay waitstaff properly for cleaning the facility.

The employee's attorney, Ben Glazier, told Fox 17,

"We're alleging that the employees were paid at a lower, hourly rate, the tipped rate, when they were essentially doing janitorial work. And that also they sometimes were not being paid at all, when they were doing the janitorial work."

The suit also claims management took a portion of waitstaff's' tips.

Glazier says more current or former employees at Grand Woods Lounge could be joining the suit
