What was once just a rumor on the Internet has proven to be true, as bassist Mike Horiuchi is no longer a member of Falling In Reverse.

The dismissal of Horiuchi was confirmed by Alternative Press, who posted the following quote from FIR frontman Ronnie Radke:

"Mika is not in the band and that’s it. Nothing more to say right now but stay tuned kids, 2012 is our year."

It seems the decision was made by Radke but no explanation was given as to why Horiuchi was kicked out of the group. To the bassist's credit, he has taken the high road when speaking about the subject. He posted a tweet telling fans not to hate on Radke and Falling In Reverse.

No replacement has been announced. Hell, maybe I should audition. We need more Asians in rock.

Falling In Reverse have been tearing it up in GRD's Rocktagon and won our 2011 Favorite Listener Band of the Year poll. "I'm Not A Vampire" actually had to be retired from the Rocktagon because the song kept winning, beating bands like Black Veil Brides, A Day To Remember, Crossfade and more.
