Glen Telford, former guitarist for groove metal band Skinlab, has died. The band shared a statement from their official Facebook page confirming the news.

We are saddened to announce the passing of our brother Glen Telford. Just got the horrible news from his sister , that he passed away 2 weeks ago in Reno Nevada....We are all in shock right now, please hug the ones you love. You never know if its gonna be the last one.
Well miss you Glenny, may you find comfort in heaven with your Mother.
Gone but never forgotten, We love you brother!

Telford first joined Skinlab in 2003 before the band went on a hiatus. When they announced their return in 2007, Telford was also included. After roughly two years, however, he announced his departure in 2009.

"Unfortunately, due to tough times, I have decided to leave Skinlab again," he wrote in a statement at the time. "It's either 100% to do that kinda schedule and commitment or none! And rather than give less than my all, I decided to sit it out!"

Skinlab formed in 1994 and have released four albums during their time together, three of which were on Century Media Records.
