Eddie Vedder Mocks Donald Trump at Bill Maher’s New Year’s Eve Show

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder celebrated his New Year in Hawaii, performing at a pair of holiday shows with comedian Bill Maher, and he used the opportunity to poke fun at GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

For this year's installment of Maher's annual "Honolulu on the Eve" and "Maui on New Year's Day" shows, the Real Time host was accompanied by Vedder and fellow comedians David Spade and Jeffrey Ross. According to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, Vedder came out on stage with Maher to cover the Who’s “The Seeker” and play Pearl Jam’s “Soon Forget.” For the latter song, Vedder made a fitting dedication to Trump. Vedder jokingly expressed his admiration for Maher, who is famously opposed to organized religion: “I love [Maher] so much that I might say I follow him religiously… but I don’t know how he’d like that.”
