Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan has seen a lot throughout his decades-long career. From groupies to rabid fans, McKagan doesn't seem fazed by anything anymore. This would also include a deranged heckler who hijacked a question & answer session that McKagan was participating in while promoting his book.

The current Velvet Revolver bassist is believed to be one of the last few people who saw Kurt Cobain alive before his suicide in 1994. McKagan showed regret for not connecting with Cobain in a deeper level as both men were fighting their own personal demons.

McKagan revealed details about his encounter with the troubled Nirvana frontman in his Seattle Weekly column.

"I was on the same plane as Kurt on that flight up from Los Angeles a couple of days before his death," McKagan wrote. "We were both f___-up. We talked, but not in depth. I was in my hell, and he in his, and this we both seemed to understand."

"When we arrived in Seattle and went to baggage claim, the thought crossed my mind to invite him over to my house then and there. I had a real sense that he was lonely and alone that night. I felt the same way. There was a mad rush of people there in public. I was in a big rock band, and he was in a big rock band."

"We were standing next to each other. Lots of people stopped to gawk. I lost my train of thought for a minute, and Kurt said good-bye and left to his waiting town car. His new house was right down the street from my new house. I received a call from my manager two days later that Kurt had died."

Apparently that story didn't sit well with a particular individual. After asking about Cobain at the Q&A session, a middle-aged man rushed to the stage with a video camera demanding more details.

“Was he depressed on the airline flight," the man shouted. "Was he despondent? Was he in despair? You never seem to be telling the truth.”

As reported by Rock News Desk, the crazy bastard refused to sit down when asked and other audience members were shouting at the individual to get out. When event staff members attempted to make the man leave, he started to get aggressive.

“Get your hands off of me before I knock your a__ down, motherf_____,” the heckler shouted.

At that point, McKagan had enough and assisted in kicking the loser out of the room.

“Get the f___ out of here, motherf____,” ordered the musician, much to the delight of the crowd.

Watch the whole incident unfold below, though you're going to have to tilt your head because the person at the event filmed it sideways.
