Have you noticed that movie trailers are beginning to look more and more alike? Just like the posters are starting to look the same, too! Red Letter Media thought so, too, and have produced this video showing how similar movie trailers have been getting, shot by shot.

What the heck is going on with these things?

People land on a formula for editing these things, and then everyone wants the same kind of trailer for their movie. You know it's the suits that have no idea about creating anything, they just see that a trailer seemed to excite people about one movie, and assume that doing that over and over will work every time.

Do these corporate suits even know any people? Have they ever talked with anyone who wasn't a rich douchebag like them?
