For the first time in more than twenty years, the Detroit Lions were victorious in Green Bay, defeating the Packers 18-16 at Lambeau Field Sunday, November 15th.

It wasn't for lack of trying, though. Lions kicker Matt Prater missed two extra points and wide receiver Calvin Johnson let an onside kick slip through his hands in the last minute of the game, giving the Packers a chance at the win.

Luckily, Packers kicker Mason Crosby missed a 52-yard field goal as time expired to give the Lions their first win in Green Bay since 1991.

Both teams struggled offensively for much of the game, with Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers throwing for 333 yards and two touchdowns.

The play of the game for the Lions came from rookie running back Ameer Abdullah, who returned a kick 104 yards to the 1-yard line, which led to a touchdown.

With the victory, the Lions are now 2-7, but are still the bottom dwellers in the NFC North. The Packers are 6-3.
