The Detroit Lions strengthened their wide receiving corps on Tuesday, signing veteran wide receiver Lance Moore to a one-year deal, according to DetroitLions.com.

Moore spent his first nine seasons with the New Orleans Saints, meaning he's already familiar with current Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lunardi's system.

Moore caught 346 passes for 4,281 yards during his nine seasons with the Saints. He also racked up 38 touchdowns during that span.

Moore was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers last season, but was released in May. He played 13 games with the Steelers, catching 14 passes, including two touchdowns.

Moore joins a star-studded Lions receiving corps that already features Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate.
