A Detroit Lions' fan who posted a racist SnapChat expressing his displeasure with two other fans who didn't stand for the National Anthem during the Lions' home opener will be surrendering his season tickets, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The unnamed fan posted a Snap during the home opener of two African American fans sitting during the anthem and captioned it "ignorant n------".

While initially denying making the post, FOX 2 Detroit reports that the poster "changed his story with a Facebook post before deleting his account."

The Detroit Lions' Fan Code of Conduct states that they may revoke your tickets, eject you from a game, or have you arrested for a number of different things including:

  • Displaying inconsiderate or otherwise inappropriate behavior towards others.

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.

  • Using foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
