Deftones Release Behind-the-Scenes Video for ‘Beauty School’
Deftones have unveiled the music video for "Beauty School", the latest single from their album Diamond Eyes. Viewers get the pleasure of seeing the Los Angeles rockers in their natural setting mixed in with live performance footage. Watch for yourself after the jump.
Sometimes when artists just throw together tour footage for a music video, I feel like it's a cop out. However, I really like how "Beauty School" was done. Deftones and their crew look like really cool people to hang out with. Hell, touring bassist Sergio Vega was wearing both Aaliyah and Biggie Smalls t-shirts in the clip. I want Vega in my circle of friends.
The live footage is pretty sweet too. The crowd they filmed were jacked for the show. Frontman Chino Moreno made a crazy flip stage dive onto the audience and they didn't drop him. I would have loved to be at that show, although they did have a great performance at this year's Lollapalooza as well.
