Now, I love Starbucks. And usually, anything fried is always awesome.

But deep fried Starbucks coffee grounds? I am not entirely sure about that.

Deep-fried Starbucks Coffee is the latest creation to come out of the San Diego County Fair, the same fair that was in the news last week for selling deep-fried Slim-Fast bars.

A dude named Mike Peterson, who runs a stand called "Bacon A-Fair", created the dish, ABC News reports.

Basically, he takes dough and Starbucks coffee grounds and rolls them together into balls, then deep fries, tops with whipped cream, and serves up in a Starbucks cup.

Peterson told ABC News, "So you have that coffee, sugar and cream effect. It gets golden crunchy on the outside and it’s sweet and gooey on the inside, and the coffee is melted into the dough and it gets a good buzz going.”

As a person who has taken a big swig of coffee and ended up with a mouth full of grounds that accidentally made it into the cup, I gotta say, this sounds pretty unappealing to me.
