Concertgoers in St. Louis got an unpleasant surprise recently when the dance floor they were standing on collapsed. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured. The incident happened during cover band Queens Blvd.'s performance of the Guns N’ Roses song “Sweet Child O' Mine.” On Monday, the band posted video of the collapse, which we’ve cued up above.

The video shows the frontman singing the line “Where do we go now?” from the track and telling the crowd, “This is the fun part!” As the crowd starts jumping on the dance floor, the platform seems to sink in and collapse. After the incident, the band is seen helping people up and then the singer directs people to slowly walk up the stairs to exit the dance floor, telling the crowd not to head onstage with them "because the stage will collapse and they will fall into the water."

Thankfully, no one was hurt during this incident because as we’ve learned from past events, stage collapses can be deadly. In 2011, three people died and at least 70 were injured during the Pukkelpop music festival in Belgium. That same year, a stage collapsed at the Indianan State Fair, killing five. In 2012, one person lost their life prior to a Radiohead concert in Toronto, Canada when a scaffolding structure collapsed.

The real Guns N’ Roses have been in the news quite a bit lately as both DJ Ashba and Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal have announced they’ve left the group.
