I have always been a fan of the Rocky movies, the first one is a timeless classic.

The second is pretty good, the third is funny, the fourth is preachy, and Rocky 5? We just try to forget about that one.

Sylvester Stallone wants to keep the Rocky legacy going with the latest addition to the saga, 'Creed.'

'Creed' seems to follow the son of the deceased friend of Rocky Balboa, Apollo Creed. If you remember Rocky 4, Apollo got clobbered by Ivan Drago and died in the ring.

'If he dies...he dies.'

From what I gather from the trailer and IMDB, the movie is about Adonis Creed (son of Apollo) and his rise to following in his fathers footsteps. He of course is going to be trained by the legendary Rocky Balboa.

I think this is kind of unique, because we followed Rocky through his whole training and rise to fame with Mickey. So it's the student becoming the teacher type of story, and it seems like it may just work, especially for Rocky fans.

If you recognize the actor who is playing creed, he played as Jace Stratton (Gears of War 3), That Awkward Moment, and will be starring as Johnny Storm in the reboot of the Fantastic 4.
