On Monday, Michael Gross, the main creator of Ghostbusters' iconic logo, passed away at 70 years old.

Gross also worked as an artist, designer, and producer for National Lampoon magazine during its golden years, where he made some of the magazine's most well-known images. But when the producers for a new Ivan Reitman movie wanted a teaser poster, Gross teamed up with artist Brent Boates to create the now-famous ghost in a "No" symbol.
