Two Wayland Warriors are getting hitched!

Robert Christensen popped the question to his girlfriend LaTarra Gryzen onstage at the Wayland concert at The Intersection in Grand Rapids Friday night!

The band paused in the middle their show to order up some shots to toast to being back home in West Michigan and cheers with all their Grand Rapids fans! The people delivering the shots? Robert and LaTarra!

Watch the video of the proposal here!

Rob explains that he contacted the band on Facebook to see if he could arrange something special to ask LaTarra to marry him. Wayland arranged to have him bring shots up and propose right there on stage in front of everyone! Fortunately, LaTarra said "Yes!"

I caught up with the newly engaged Grand Rapids' couple moments after the proposal! Check out that video below!

The two have been together for a little over a year after initially meeting at the Hudsonville fair. This was LaTarra's fifth Wayland concert and Rob's third; his first Wayland concert (and rock show ever!) was the couple's first date!

LaTarra says they are planning on a late summer wedding next year.

After the proposal lead singer Mitch Arnold congratulates the newly engaged couple, exclaiming,

"That's what I've been telling my mother for a long time, 'Like Mom, rock and roll brings people together!"

Wayland goes on to play "Reason to Love" to celebrate the special moment, watch here!

Congrats to the happy Wayland Warrior couple!
