Megadeth has been in the music news quite a bit recently, with both their drummer and guitarist leaving the band and forming their own band, and then all the rumors of the classic Rust in Peace lineup getting back together.

While that isn't happening, the announcements made by the band last week of Chris Adler from Lamb of God and Kiko Loureiro from Angra recording the new album have been exciting, too!

Marty Friedman, most people's favorite Megadeth shredder, has been touring in support of his latest solo album, Inferno, and doing a lot of clinic appearances, too.

Here's some cool GoPro footage from a recent clinic, with his camera strapped to the head stock. I love these shots; you can really see some of the things he's doing and it's a cool view!

Marty is a great player, and I know a lot of people are still hoping he'll join the Daves and work with Megadeth again.

It's not happening now, but he hasn't ruled out it happening at all.
