Climax-Scotts High School and Junior High students have been released and all evening activities have been cancelled after the school received a threat this morning, Fox 17 reports. 

School officials say the threat was a hand-written note found inside the school building around 10:30a.m.

While the threat has been deemed "low-level", students were released shortly before noon as a precaution.

According to MLive, no explosives or explosive devices have been found at this time.

Classes are expected to be back in session Tuesday. Climax-Scotts Elementary School remains in session today and students will be released at the normal time.
