You have to love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, especially if you're from Michigan, or really love the state. Not only do Anthony's mom and sister live here in the Grand Rapids area, but the band LOVES to troll Ohio with Michigan stuff!

Last year, Chad Smith had a Michigan kick drum head on his kit while playing in Ohio at Rock on the Range. Having grown up in Bloomfield Hills, and being a long time Michigan fan, Chad loves to tease Ohio.

This year, before wrapping up a show at Ohio State's Schottenstein Center, Chad Smith couldn't leave the stage before performing one more song. Solo. Acapella.

Call it mean, call it whatever if you're an Ohio fool...but you have to laugh at how often they add fuel to the fire of the rivalry. So far, we're coming out on top.
