Chestnut Eats 68 Dogs To Match World Record

Congratulations to the world's greatest eater, Joey Chestnut.  On Wednesday, Chestnut won the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest for the 6th straight year.  He won the title by matching his career-best and world record of swallowing 68 hot dogs over the course of 10 minutes.

Chestnut won $10,000 by eating more hot dogs in 10 minutes than any other competitor.  That's $1000 per minute, or just over $147 per hot dog.

Chestnut consumed about 20,000 calories of hot dog.  I can only imagine what tomorrow morning will feel like.
