Asking Alexandria kept everyone in the dark about their new singer until just before heading out to play some shows recently, and a lot of people have been wondering who the guy is, and what he sounds like. Wonder no more, since we have some live video from Germany for you!

The band played at the Rawk Attack festival in Hannover yesterday and, of course, there's some good fan filmed video from the show.

Check out a couple songs from the show, with Asking Alexandria's new singer, Denis Shaforostov, who's already done something really great for the band.

He worked with guitarist Ben Bruce to rewrite all the lyrics that had been written by Bruce in anger at Danny Worsnop, so the new album wouldn't be about their former singer, and they could move on and leave Danny in the past.

"I've written a lot of the lyrics for [ASKING ALEXANDRIA's upcoming] record, and a lot of them, to begin with, were about Danny. I mean, I was fucking pissed off, man. The guy was my best friend, and he just kind of turned his back on me and fucking bailed. And I was angry — I was really angry — and I was upset, so a lot of the lyrics were written towards Danny and a lot of them were quite spiteful and lot of them were quite upsetting. And I sat down one day, and Denis actually sat down [with me], and he was, like, 'You don't want this album to be about DannyDanny is in the past now. You need to move on. You need to look forward to your future.' And I was, like, 'You're right. You're right.' And I sat down and I re-wrote most of the record — lyrically anyway — with Denis."

That's good news...the last thing we need is another whine-fest about former members.
