Mears Man Charged with Report of False Terrorism, Destruction of Property in Grand Haven Coast Guard Attack [Video]

A 33-year-old man has been charged in the attack on the U.S. Coast Guard station in Grand Haven.

Matthew Lawrence Krueger was arrested Sunday after drove his pickup truck through a security gate at the Coast Guard Station and assaulted on-site personnel.

Prior to that, he had called Ottawa County Dispatch, telling them he had a bomb and was going to blow up the station.

Police Searching for Suspect Following Wyoming Credit Union Robbery

Wyoming police are searching for a man who they say robbed the ATL Credit Union, 841 36th St. SW in Wyoming, at gunpoint late Friday morning.

The robbery was reported around 11:45 a.m. EST.

In a news release, police said the man entered the credit union with a handgun and then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Coast Guard Saves Dog From Icy Lake Michigan Waters in Frankfort [Video]

A lucky Labrador is safe at home with her family after an harrowing experience in an icy Michigan channel.

On Tuesday morning, the dog, Betsie Bay, fell into the Frankfort channel waters between Betsie Lake and Lake Michigan, in Frankfort.

Staffers at the U.S. Coast Guard station in Frankfort spotted the dog and suited up to rescue the pup from the frigid waters.
