The Bunny Train in Coopersville is Ready to Roll

It's that time of year again with Spring and Easter just around the corner. It's time to hop aboard the Bunny Train!

This is always a family favorite when the Coopersville & Marne Railway presents their annual Bunny Train. This year, the 13th, the train will run on Saturdays, March 12, 19 and 26 and on Sundays March 13 and 20. Saturday train departures are at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm. On Sundays, the trains leave at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. The friendly Conductor will call “All Aboard” at 20 minutes before each departure.

Michigan State Police to Crack Down on Left Lane Drivers

I didn't realize left lane drivers were an issue, until I saw it on one of those "Only in Michigan" lists. (In Driver's Ed we were all taught "Drive Right, Pass Left", correct?...)

Apparently Michiganders are guilty of cruising in the left lane too long, and Michigan State Police are going to start cracking down on it, WZZM-13 reports.

Kent and Ionia County Animal Shelters Receive Share of Grants Worth $134,998

The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Animal Industry Division has announced their annual Animal Welfare Fund grants for animal shelters in Michigan.

This year, $134,998 will go to 23 registered animal shelters in Michigan including Kent County Animal Shelter and Ionia County Animal Shelter.
