Hellyeah Rocked Grand Rapids with Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch

After Nothing More hit the stage first at the Deltaplex last night, to rock the sold-out crowd, Hellyeah cranked things up even louder before, Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch!

There's a feeling right before a band hits the stage that's really cool...the buildup, the anticipation...then you hear the noises from the guitars as the musicians make sure things are working, and then the lights go down.

Nothing More Rocked the Deltaplex on Sunday Night September 21st

Nothing More hit the stage first at the Deltaplex last night, to rock the sold-out crowd, and warm things up for Hellyeah, Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch!

These guys hit the stage hard, and keep the energy pretty high during a longer, headlining set, so their half-hour set last night was probably easy for them!  They came out and rocked it hard, blasting through great songs from their first album, including "Mr. MTV", "This is the Time (Ballast)", "Christ Copyright", and "Salem".

Motionless in White Rocked the Deltaplex on Monday Night

Monday night, A Day to Remember and Bring Me the Horizon hit the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids, bringing along Chiodos and Motionless in White for a big show on the Parks and Devastation tour!

Kicking off the night, was Motionless in White, from Scranton, PA, rocked the Deltaplex.  I have to make the joke, since contrary to their name, they neither wore white, or stayed motionless for their set.

Johnnie’s Throwback Thursday – Meeting the Scorpions

Even though I've never been a huge Scorpions fan, though I do enjoy their music, I've somehow seen them a bunch of times in concert, and managed to meet them a couple of times.

Here's the first time I met them...sometime in the early 90's.  They always put of a great show, and sound fantastic, and they have always been really nice people to meet.

Watch The Black Keys Rock Grand Rapids from the September 7th Show

The Black Keys and Cage the Elephant rocked Grand Rapids last night at the Van Andel arena, in front of thousands of cheering people!  Thanks to all of you who came out and rocked with WGRD at the show!

The Black Keys hit the stage with a bigger show than I really expected, and they put on a fantastic performance!  They played a lot of songs, covering a lot of ground, and hitting a lot of older songs, that seemed to make all the die hard Black Keys fans happy.
