Sochi Winter Games: How Grand Rapids’ U.S. Paralympian Omar Bermejo Did

Omar Bermejo achieved and competed with the world's best Winter Paralympians over the past two weeks in Russia.

The 32-year-old former Marine, who had an amputation of part of a severed arm suffered in a June 2009 motorcycle accident, is from Grand Rapids resident, He took part with Team USA in two nordic skiing disciplines at the Sochi Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

William Clay Ford Sr. was the last living grandchild of Henry Ford. He owned the Detroit Lions for over 50 years.

Mr. Ford died of pneumonia at his home on Sunday. He was 88.

I'm turning off all my auto-pay services RIGHT NOW!

A woman died at least SIX YEARS AGO a couple of hours from Grand Rapids, in Pontiac, and no one noticed because her car payment was automatically drafted from her account.  The neighbors thought she was just really quiet and traveled a lot.

Hell, one of them MOWED HER LAWN regularly, to keep the house looking tidy!  While the woman was sitting dead in the back seat of her car in the garage! This is horrifying!

Motley Crue Adds Three Dates to The Final Tour, which Starts July 2 in Grand Rapids

Motley Crue recently announced its farewell run dubbed The Final Tour and made it official by signing a binding document that they would not tour again beyond the year 2015.

The news conference included the first leg of tour dates, including starting out July 2 in Grand Rapids with a concert at Van Andel Arena.
