This past weekend, Joe led the Free Beer and Hot Wings team at the Fifth Third Riverbank Run. Not only did he run the race under an hour, he also partied pretty hard a little and got quite drunk after. How did he prep for the race? How did he feel afterwards?

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk to Mickey from the Whitecaps about the season, Free Beer calls it over, even though it's only May, because he's like that, and the guys work on coming up with new promotions for the team.

This morning, there was some baseball talk, which always give Free Beer the opportunity to quiz Joe on sports terminology, and Joe never fails to entertain with his explanation of them. Is it better to have a perfect game by a pitcher, or striking out 20?

Today, the guys review their segment on WZZM from earlier this morning, and the story about the first-grader who was made to clean out toilets with his bare hands. Something about the interactions with the TV people had been bugging Joe, and they wanted to see if it was something real or imagined. Turns out, the awkward moment was real!

On Saturday, the graduating class of Bay College in Escanaba, MI was all set to walk the stage and get their diplomas. But the city motto of "Soak It All In" took on a whole new meaning, when a man walked on stage and showed everyone his ass.

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about Joe's Fifth Third Riverbank Run team, and the race this weekend. This launches Joe into a crazed rant "like a dictator", where he gets very heated over what may or may not be happening for the race. You still have time to sign up and run with the maniac.

Every year, Rob Scallon uses May to celebrate Metallica with May-tallica. He began this month with a crazy cover of "Master of Puppets" on banjo last week. This week, he kicks it up a notch, with his cover of the lead song from ...And Justice For All, "Blackened", on ukulele. Complete with guitar solo!

Today on Segment 16, the guys welcome Mickey from the West Michigan Whitecaps in, because he brings us food...oh, and some new players who will be visiting us this season to talk about Whitecaps baseball! Brett Pirtle and Cam Gibson join the guys and eventually they're allowed to talk sports.

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about the new roller coaster at Cedar Point, called the ValRavn. It's a DiveCoaster, meaning it takes you up, holds you for a bit, and then shoots you STRAIGHT DOWN TOWARD THE GROUND! Insert the sound of Hot Wings vomiting, here.

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about sports, and the odd problem a local resident is having with his balls. Well, not HIS balls, but the balls other people keep giving him. Tons of soccer balls come over the wall next to his house, damaging his home and vehicle windows, and he's had it!

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about the planned grocery store coming downtown, and how it's too much like the Downtown Market, and not like a real grocery store. A Meijer downtown would awesome. This leads to talk of Joe selling his home and moving downtown.
