Last night we kicked off the 2013 WGRD Pond Hockey Classic. The snow was falling and the beer was flowing for the opening ceremonies. We will be out there all day today and tomorrow. You can get all the details after the jump!

December 21, 2012 Every Thursday night is the GRD Bad Bowlers League. It is a night where a bunch of us get together, get plowed on cheap beer, and bowl very badly! I normally like to hand out prizes to the "bad bowler of the week" Someone who is just a drunk ass, who bowls like a 55, but this week I couldn't do that... because I met Kurt. Kurt has not only an epic mustache, but he also bowled a 225 the first game! WOOHOO Go Kurt! Like I always say, it's good to be bad, and in Kurts case, the bad mustache was enough! ;) Kurt went home with a brand new IHome, speakers and docking system for your IPhone or IPod touch!
December 14, 2012 This weeks bad bowler if Brooke! Brooke bowled a 66... super bad score! But I had this week be a toss up. No one knew whether I would be awarding the best or worst bowler of night! That said Brooke bowled crappy all on her own, but it's okay because she went home with an Ipod touch!

December 7, 2012 I spiced things up this week! Normally I feature the "bad bowler of the week" and normally they are VERY bad! Well this week I thought it was time to reward someone who is a fellow, "bad bowler" but is insanely good at it! Andrew Walcott, Andrew bowled a 233 the first game! That is insane for a person who bowls a 75 on a regular basis! Andrew went home with a pair of tickets to see New Medicine with Deuce at the Intersection!
November 30, 2012 This week's bad bowler is Rodger! First off, Rodger's shirt says, "donkey punch." That's awesome. Secondly, Rodger's team is super fun. Every week you can count on them to drink way too much beer and have a good time
November 16, 2012 This week's bad bowler was Daniel! Daniel says he "wasn't that drunk," but his bowling score begs to differ. The kid bowled a 61... That's okay though because he was so awfully awful he scored a pair of tickets to the WWE Live Taping at Van Andel Arena this Tuesday!
The GRD bad bowlers league happens every Thursday night starting at 6:15PM at Fairlanes in Grandville! You can still join if you think you are bad enough to hang out with us! Next Thursday we are taking a break due to Thanksgiving but we will be back the following week drinking lots of beer and bowling badly! For only 11 bucks a bowler its a pretty darn good time!
November 9, 2012 This week's bad bowler is Marie! Marie bowled an all time low of 52! As always though she had a fantastic time... (I mean she had to have right, to have bowled a 52...) Marie didn't go home empty handed though, I'm kind of like a super cool, skinnier version of Santa Claus, I always have presents! Marie along with Kevin and Nick each went home with a pair of tickets to go see Wayland this weekend at the Intersection!

November 2, 2012 This weeks bad bowler is Jackie! Not me silly, a different Jackie actually ;) This Jackie bowled a 57 on her second game... that is a new record low for our bad bowlers league, but it pays to be bad with GRD because Jackie scored a 25 dollar gift card to Eastern Floral, and a DVD/Book set on Janko Jones
