It turned out to be pretty cool, as dozens of bands sent in their videos, and we received many, many, many thousands of votes on them.

Beginning Monday, and every weekday through November 18th, GRD is getting you ready for the new Metallica album, Hardwired...the Self-Destruct, by hooking you up with Metallica music! Win albums from the Metallica catalog each day, and you could win an awesome Metallica Grand Prize!

Today on Segment 16, the guys finish going through all the local bands that submitted videos to get onto the Wayland show at the Intersection on November 23rd. The guys picked some of their favorites, and then...figured out how they would pick their top band for the show.

A Grand Rapids Public Schools senior’s painting depicting the evolution of electricity production in Michigan has earned her a $1,000 college scholarship and prominent display of her winning creation in downtown Grand Rapids as ArtPrize heads into its final week.
