NVINT, a Caledonia-based company, is set to invest $364,000 and add at least 26 computer engineering and computer programming jobs.  

NVINT is a global technology company which provides customized infrastructure solutions, managed information technology services, cloud solutions and enterprise hardware for businesses.

Yesterday, The Right Place and The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), announced the expansion at NVINT Services.

The MEDC is supporting the expansion with the approval of a $175,000 grant. The grant is intended to help offset the costs related to the expansion, recruiting and training.

“NVINT is on an aggressive growth trajectory, and we need to be able to scale the company quickly to keep up with demand,” said Chris Vinton, president, NVINT.

Location plans for the company’s expansion have not yet been finalized.

Jennifer Wangler, business development manager at The Right Place led the expansion project assisting NVINT throughout the process.

Job growth within West Michigan’s high-tech sector continues to outpace the national average by double-digit percentage points, 20 percent in West Michigan compared to the national average of 11.6 percent since 2009. Today, over 14,000 in the region work in a high-tech field.
