I'm always talking about the WiiU, NES, SNES, etc. I mean, those are great consoles and they remind of my childhood quite a bit when I play them. Believe it or not, for awhile, I fell out of video gaming for a time when I was early in high school. The new game consoles were coming out and I just didn't care about them at all.

Until a friend of mine sold me a game console for a rock bottom cheap price, the Nintendo Gamecube.

It had been awhile since I really played the console, but I had recently purchased some Gamecube games that I really wanted to try.

Waverace: Blue Storm and Star Fox Assault.

I played Waverace for a bit, and quickly found out that it's not that good of a game. The one on Nintendo 64 is amazing, but the Gamecube controls a little too tight. However, Star Fax Assault was freaking sweet! I really hope that the new Star Fox game on WiiU is comparable to Star Fox Assault.

I started to quickly reminisce about some games I have on the Gamecube. Like Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Remake, Super Smash Bros. Melee and so many others that I played the living hell out of. I even have the ports of Resident Evil 2 and 3, which are great on Gamecube.

The Nintendo Gamecube was the little console that could, and did a little bit. It may have not had the DVD player like the Xbox or Playstation 2 had, but when I have a video game console, I just want to play video games. I will say that having my game console being a multi-media center is great, but games are games.

While all my friends were jamming on Playstation 2 and Xbox at the time, me and my little Cube were rockin' the TV screen.
