Bring Me the Horizon have released a new track called “Happy Song,” and you can listen to it above and buy it on iTunes now. While “Happy Song” is not actually about being happy, we think frontman Oli Sykes may legitimately be enjoying that emotion this week. The frontman married his girlfriend Hannah Pixie Snowdon yesterday (July 12) in Tuscany, Italy.

The pair, who got engaged on Christmas Day in 2013, both took to their Instagram accounts to share photos from their nuptials, including photo booth snaps that show the date and location of the event, as well as all of the fun they were having. We've pasted an Instagram video below that Hannah shared of what looks like a dancing, boxer-clad Oli getting down on the dance floor. Hannah called their wedding "the most insane night of my life," while Oli put up a picture of his new wedding ring choosing to write just one word, "Taken." Check out his post below. Congrats to the happy couple!

Oli’s relationship status has now changed from single to married and his band’s sound seems to have changed as well. “Happy Song” is definitely a departure from Being Me the Horizon’s earlier metalcore roots, which may or may not surprise their fans. The group’s latest full length album, 2013’s Sempiternal, featured a smattering of mainstream rock sounds and their 2014 standalone single “Drown,” recently charted high on rock radio and showed an even bigger musical departure for the group. “Happy Song” continues in that vein and while some fans on their YouTube channel and Facebook page expressed their distaste for the change, many of their supporters are writing that they appreciate the evolution.

The band revealed the song to fans through a series of codes and puzzle for them to solve. Yesterday, Sykes thanked their fans for playing along and for supporting them in the release of their new single. He also posted the tune's full lyrics which include lines like, “I’ve had enough / there’s a voice in my head / Says I'm better off dead / But if I sing along / A little f--king louder to a happy song / I’ll be alright.”

BMTH have been working on the follow-up to Sempiternal and we'll keep you updated on the album's title, release date and track listing when we know more.
