During Oakland, California's own KTVU weather broadcast, Mark Tamayo was doing his report in front of a scenic backdrop of a live view of the Marian Headlands when a curious bird stopped by to say hi!

The bird just sat there for a few minutes, just checking things out and making sure everyone would know who he was, and now we do!

While the crow was checking things out, Tamayo even stepped out of the way so we could all get a good look!

"The bird was so poised - and the backdrop was dramatic. I decided to step out of the shot so the bird could get the attention it deserved," said Tamayo. "It just seemed to be confident sitting there... it was just the perfect combination of elements with the location, backdrop, and timing and the bird was just calm, cool and collected."

This is the only time flipping the bird is acceptable on live TV!
