In a recent interview with CNN, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan stated that he believes the future of rock music is God.

"I think God's the great unexplored territory in rock and roll music."

When asked what he would say to Christian rockers, Corgan replied, "make better music."  He then added, "I think Jesus would like better bands."

Smashing Pumpkins will release the concert film, Oceania: Live in NYC on September 3rd on several home audio and video formats.  The film includes a live performance of the band's entire 2012 album, Oceania, as well as classics like "Disarm," "Tonight, Tonight," and "Bullet with Butterfly Wings."
