A 21-year-old woman has been arrested following a shooting during a road rage incident  in Battle Creek on Saturday.

WZZM-13 reports the woman fired a gun into a vehicle near Beckley Road and Capital Avenue SW on Saturday around 8 p.m., nearly hitting the two people inside.

With a description of the vehicle, police were able to locate the woman near Glenn Cross Road and M-66.

According to police, the gun had been thrown from the car. The gun was later found, along with ammunition that was located inside the vehicle.

The woman was arrested on two counts of attempted murder and felony weapons charges.
