The Battle Creek Bombers are getting mixed reviews over their decision to hold a "2nd Amendment Education" night at their ballpark. The event is centered around education around guns, gun safety, and the 2nd Amendment, and patrons who have permits to carry firearms will be allowed to carry them into the game.

Those who do carry firearms in will be given a special wristband and will not be permitted to purchase alcohol.

No guns will be sold at the event, and the Bombers will provide free trigger locks to fans entering the game.

The team will provide exchanges for anyone with tickets who does not wish to participate in the event.

WOOD-TV8 reports that the Battle Creek Police Department will be on hand and that the game is nearly sold out.
