Guns N' Roses and Sixx: A.M. guitarist DJ Ashba says that GNR leader Axl Rose has a bunch of demos recorded, but is afraid they may never be released. That might be a good idea since Guns N' Roses' last album, Chinese Democracy, took 15 years to make. It could take up to 50 years for the band to release three records.

Speaking to Triple M radio in Melbourne, Australia, Ashba says Axl Rose has "a lot of great songs up his sleeve."

“He probably has three albums worth of stuff recorded," Ashba said. "The stuff I’ve heard…I’ve been up in his hotel room many nights and he just sits down at the piano and plays. I’m like, ‘This is amazing. People have to hear this song.’ And he’s like, ‘Ah, this is something I’m tinkering on.’

“He’s just a genius when it comes down to music,” Ashba added, “And I just cannot wait to sit down with an acoustic guitar and just write. He’s just got this gift that’s very, very rare.”

Axl Rose may have a very rare music making gift, but his timeliness is surely lacking. Think the world needs one more Guns N' Roses album, let alone three?
