Mother of Sandy Hook Victim Writes Powerful Letter to Teachers

The mother of one of the 26 victims of last year's Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre has written a powerful letter to the teachers of America. Nebla Marquez-Greene had two children attending Sandy Hook Elementary that day. Her daughter, 6-year-old Ana Grace, was killed in the massacre, but her son was uninjured in the attack. Her letter, which was posted on the Education Week website is powerful, and gut-wrenching, and encouraging all in one. Read it after the jump.

Michigan State Police Trooper Dies After Shootout In Mason County

The Michigan State Police has confirmed the death of a trooper from injuries in a shooting during a Mason County traffic stop Monday evening. The trooper, identified as Paul Butterfield of the Hart Post of the MSP, died during emergency surgery at Munson Hospital in Traverse City.

You Can Now Buy Positive Pregnancy Tests On Craigslist – Because Why Wouldn’t You Want Something Someone Else Peed On?

I've mentioned before that I find it really super gross when people announce their pregnancies on Facebook by posting pictures of positive pregnancy tests, but this is taking the gross-out factor to a whole new level. You can now buy positive pregnancy tests (you know, ones that have already been peed on by pregnant ladies) on Craigslist. I could barely even type that without gagging.
