I've never been good at filling these things out, but here it goes. I like long walks in cold mountain air, preferably with snow on the ground. I enjoy drinking fine soda by the crackling fire, and deep tissue massage. I hope to one day grow up an become and astronaut, so I can fly to Venus to see if that's really where women come from. If it's true, I'll bring one back for you, too. Unless it's a dude you want, and then you're out of luck...sorry. My favorite month is October, because Halloween is the best holiday ever! It allows me to openly proclaim my love and obsession with scary movies without being seen as some sort of lunatic. Okay, not too much of a lunatic. I'm a huge fan of rock and metal music, and you'll often hear me blasting the control room speakers into oblivion every night during my show. My engineer doesn't like me very much, since he has to fix them. Sorry, Mike.

Decrepit Birth Drummer Records Amazing ‘Fart Metal’ Song [Video]

I feel like I'm six years old again. I'm laughing my butt off at this new video, where "Fart Metal" has been created.

The drummer from the metal band Decrepit Birth has recording a new song, featuring his very real, very hysterical, farts! I can barely type, I'm laughing so much. No one should get this much entertainment from something so dumb, but we do!

Volbeat Crushed Grand Rapids at the Deltaplex with Five Finger Death Punch

After Nothing More and Hellyeah cranked things up loud to kick off the night, Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch hit the stage to destroy Grand Rapids!

I've been looking forward to seeing Volbeat, since I've gotten screwed out of seeing them before, so I was really excited.

The band hit the stage with a cool cemetery stage setup, and the PA seemed to get even louder than it had been before!

Hellyeah Rocked Grand Rapids with Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch

After Nothing More hit the stage first at the Deltaplex last night, to rock the sold-out crowd, Hellyeah cranked things up even louder before, Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch!

There's a feeling right before a band hits the stage that's really cool...the buildup, the anticipation...then you hear the noises from the guitars as the musicians make sure things are working, and then the lights go down.

Nothing More Rocked the Deltaplex on Sunday Night September 21st

Nothing More hit the stage first at the Deltaplex last night, to rock the sold-out crowd, and warm things up for Hellyeah, Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch!

These guys hit the stage hard, and keep the energy pretty high during a longer, headlining set, so their half-hour set last night was probably easy for them!  They came out and rocked it hard, blasting through great songs from their first album, including "Mr. MTV", "This is the Time (Ballast)", "Christ Copyright", and "Salem".

Fall Out Boy Shows You How To Get the New U2 Album Off Your Phone

Apple and U2 dropped a bomb last week when they dropped a big, steamy one on your iPhone, whether you wanted it or not.

By that, I mean the new U2 album...in your phone...by force.

I personally feel violated.

But Fall Out Boy to the rescue!  Did you EVER expect to hear THOSE words?

Art Prize - JW 1
A big squiggly thing outside our building. Probably represents man's inner struggle to hold his pee when standing next to strange art. I'm not encouraging anyone to urinate on anything.

ArtPrize Is Coming; How Insane Are the Artists Going to Be This Year?

ArtPrize is coming, and it's a huge thing for Grand Rapids.

Thousands of people wander around downtown, checking out all the art that comes to town and vote on the art they think should win the huge grand prize.

The grand prizes' payouts total $400,000, and there are smaller prizes all totaling $160,000. So, this is a pretty big freaking deal!

I will admit right now that I don't get art. I'm more of a music guy.

Check Out The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach’s Guitars and Amps on Tour

The Black Keys hit Grand Rapids a couple weekends ago, and rocked the Van Andel Arena with Cage The Elephant on the 7th.

Dan's guitars sounded fantastic all night, and he switched them out quite a bit during the show, and always had really cool tones and sounds for the songs.

Here's a cool video that went up yesterday, showing all the gear the Dan's using on this tour, and how he gets the sound that he uses for the shows.
