2013 Mayhem Festival Dates + Cities Unveiled

Since its launch in 2008, the Rockstar Energy Drink  has quickly become one of top U.S. metal tours. Some of the biggest names in music have headlined the fest in the past, including Motorhead, Slayer and Slipknot in 2012. No bands have been announced yet, but the dates and cities for this year's trek have just been unveiled.

The Offspring and Dead Sara’s Emily Armstrong Team Up for Performance of ‘Gone Away’

In late 2012, the Offspring toured with Dead Sara. During the Offpsring's set, Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara would join the band for a stripped down version of 'Gone Away.' A video of an October performance of the song at a show at the Hollywood Palladium, as well as footage of the pair recording a studio version of the song, has been released (watch below).

P.O.D. Lyrical Controversy Leads California Festival to Switch Venues

P.O.D. was scheduled to perform in Ventura, Calif. Sunday (Oct. 28), but canceled the gig after some controversy erupted with the venue. Originally scheduled for the Ventura County Fairgrounds, the Hell's Coming festival was moved to a smaller venue after fairground officials objected to the lyrical content of the P.O.D. song, 'Youth of the Nation.'
