Australia Now Considers Facebook Unfriending 'Bullying'

Some pansy in Australia filed a Fair Work Act complaint again her boss in Australia for "an order to stop bullying". The reason? Her boss unfriended her on Facebook.

Are you f-ing kidding me? Unfriending can now be considered bullying?

You know why this pisses me off? Not just because it's a wussy move, which it is. Not just because it's something only a 4-year-old would get butthurt about, which it is. But because there's REAL bullying in the world, and this kind of crap weakens the actual struggle against it.

Take the story about the bully beating up the blind kid here at WGRD.com. This is bullying. Beating up someone smaller than you, who also happens to be blind? That bully deserved everything he got, and more, probably. Beside, they're kids, and bullying is something that really gets deep into your psyche at young ages.

But when you're supposed to be a grown-ass adult, and someone's not hitting or bullying you for real, they just unfriend you on freaking Facebook? Pull up your big girl pants, and act like a f-ing adult! So, he unfriended you. I think you'll survive, without any bruising or broken bones.

Now, I understand the idea that he might be playing favorites at work, and his unfriending you is a "sign" that he favors someone else over you. Does this mean it's time to apply for a bullying injunction?

Maybe you should grow up and look for another job, or maybe find out what the actual deal is. Maybe you post a million political posts, or photos of your lunch, or invite him to every single Facebook app and game available, and he's tired of all that crap.

Take a look at what you post...do you spam a bunch of crap that even your friends have problems liking after a while? Do you play too many games, or take too many lame surveys? Either way, maybe you're spending too much time on Facebook since you noticed that he'd unfriended you so quickly. Maybe that's contributing to him favoring someone else for a promotion, or whatever.

Grow up. I hope you get fired. Now, THAT might be bullying, I'll have to check with HR...but luckily, I don't work with you, so get bent.
