Illinois based Aspen Foods has recalled 2 million pounds of frozen chicken due to possible Salmonella contamination, WZZM -13 reports.

The recall comes after a Barber Foods recall earlier this week of 1.7 million pounds of chicken because of similar concerns.

According to the USDA, the raw, frozen chicken products include Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken Kiev, Buffalo Style Chicken, and Parmesan Breaded Chicken.

They were produced between April 15, 2015 and July 10, 2015 with “best if used by” dates between July 14, 2016 and October 10, 2016 and bear the number “P-1358” inside the USDA inspection mark.

The recalled products were sent to retail and food service locations across the country. Some brands involved in the recall are Spartan, Sysco, Kirkwood, and Schwan's.

A full list of recalled products can be found on the USDA's website.

According to the CDC, most people infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection, with symptoms lasting 4-7 days.

Cooking chicken all the way through to a temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit should kill Salmonella.

The USDA encourages those with concerns to contact Aspen Foods at (844) 277-6802
