Just when you thought that you'd seen everything in sports, something entirely new happens.

Last night in game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, the Blackhawks and Ducks were tied 2-2 with about 11 minutes left in the second overtime. Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen stopped a Patrick Kane shot, but the rebound popped up in the air right in front of the net. The Blackhawks' Andrew Shaw then pulled a move from the soccer world, jumping in the air and headbutting the puck into the net.

The Blackhawks' bench cleared and everyone celebrated the 2OT win, but it was short-lived. Apparently intentionally headbutting the puck into the net is not allowed and the goal was called back.

The Blackhawks ended up winning the game 3-2 in the third overtime.
