This morning on the air, we talked to Shaun Evans who, with his son Shamus, is currently doing something that will make you feel like you're the laziest person in the world. And it's all for a great cause. Oh, and it's a great, heartwarming story as well.

When Shamus was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, he and his father didn't want that to hold them back from spending time together doing what they love. So Shaun got Shamus a special wheelchair so that he could join his dad on the runs that he went on. Shamus enjoyed running with his dad so much that they both decided that they would do something bigger than anyone could ever imagine. They decided that they will run across the United States this summer, running 50 miles a day for 70 days, all while giving out special equipment to families in need of help for their children with CP.

Their journey across the country started on the Fourth of July, and they're about 1,400 miles into their journey. Shaun updated us on the run and told us about the injuries he's had to run through so far. You can listen to the interview below.
