Allegan County Deputy Injured in U.S.131 Pile-up Near Plainwell Thursday Morning

(WZZM-13) Northbound U.S. 131 has reopened in Allegan County following a snowy pile-up involving at least 10 vehicles around 11:20 a.m. Thursday morning.

The accident happened at the 50 mile marker, about one mile north of Plainwell.

Original reports said two officers were injured in the accident. One has been confirmed: according to Allegan Central Dispatch, a deputy left his cruiser to respond a vehicle involved in an accident when he was hit by another vehicle. His condition is not yet known.
