Alice in Chains Rocked the NFC Championship Game - Even if We Didn't See It [Video]

I was looking forward to watching the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

It was not because I'm a huge fan of either team, but because Alice in Chains was scheduled to perform during the halftime show. Is that weird?

Unfortunately, when the halftime show came on, I was stuck watching the talking heads as they broke down the first half and hearing "Man in the Box" playing in the background.

I know, they only have 15 minutes to do their business and sell their products, but it would have been nice to have a great rock band on national TV on Fox kicking serious ass!

I will totally credit Alice in Chains for the Seahawks resurrection in the second half, since in the first half the team played as though the offensive and defensive lines hadn't shown up for work that day.

And seeing the news feeds today, a lot of Seattle fans feel like complete assholes for leaving the game early. They missed the huge 28-22 overtime comeback for the Seahawks against the Green Bay Packers, getting them the NFC Championship again and sending them back to the Super Bowl to defend their title there!
