Nearly everyone that works in radio uses, or is at least familiar with, an audio editing program called Adobe Audition. It's a standard in the industry for editing sound files.  Well, Adobe is working on a new problem that looks incredible, but also incredibly dangerous at the same time!

The new program, called Project VoCo, is a speech synthesizer.  Basically, you feed about 20 minutes of audio from one person into the program and Project VoCo can then make that person say nearly anything!  It uses advanced algorithms and analyzing software to break down words and sounds and then reassemble them into different words!  Awesome!

This program seems great and all, but we can't help thinking that it'll have some adverse effects, especially in this negative political climate. For example, "Candidate _______ wants to murder all babies!  Here he is talking about it!," followed by a synthesized audio clip. And to think, we didn't think that things could get any worse.
